We’ve had product testers and professional athletes fall in love with Finisterre’s classic Etobicoke, but for the harshest and coldest conditions, they’ve asked for something even warmer, this is our answer…

The Sastruga boasts a longer length, a beautifully sculpted hood and is filled with Primaloft Sport™ synthetic insulation for increased loft and durability.
We’ve also reduced the weight of the recycled water resistant outer shell fabric to offer maximum warmth for minimum weight.

We’ve gone with synthetic insulation, as a UK company we’re no strangers to wet conditions and it’s a simple fact that
synthetic fill retains 75% of its warmth when wet, whereas down fill only retains 15% of its warmth when wet.

For this year’s insulation pieces we’re using Riri zips, they’re manufactured in Italy and they’re famous for their durability and smooth action.
