The Subsonic™ is Exile's first dive into a true "Surf Style" wakesurfer.
Working with team rider, Ryan Deese, we developed a shape and rocker that is incredibly versatile for both the beginner and professional rider alike.
We also wanted to offer a Surf Style board that was unique in its construction, with a bunch of configuration options for any rider, and most importantly, easy on the wallet.
This board is fast, responsive, and a must-have for anyone who wants to shred!
The wider overall outline combined with the softer rails through the upper half of the board allows for an incredibly responsive feel, with a tremendous amount of 'pop'.
The conservative nose rocker with sharper 'skim style' rails in the lower half of the board makes the board feel incredibly fast, while allowing it to fit tightly in the pocket of the wave.
But not only good as wakesurfer but with sharp rail and fin set up an amazing fun kite surfboard.
The Subsonic could be an excellent option for you, although I would say it's a little more of a 'surf style' than a skim style board (although it has rails very similar to a skimboard).
We see this being an excellent board for wave riding while kiting
In true Exile fashion, this board is constructed with a layer of Carbon Fiber on the top and bottom and premium EPOXY resin, which is rare in the Surf Style market.
